Thank you everyone for supporting us in 2024! We continued to reach out to audiences with our documentary “Fields of Gold” with premieres in North Carolina and Indiana. It is now available streaming on Amazon Prime. We had a visitor from our Los Angeles film, “The Lie” with Jacob Seidman. Our work on “In Focus” continued for PBS-WSIU-TV, and we won our second Emmy for Spencer Films for a story about Dr. Yona Stamatis, a third generation Holocaust survivor and how she is using her career in music to promote peace, along with the Jewish Federation of Springfield, IL. Julie Staley, Laura Richter, and Tim Lynn were our production team. We also produced another story where we featured Kathy Smith and her volunteers for a story about PBJ Springfield. Spencer Films was part of the on-air talent for the NASA broadcast at SIU-Carbondale for the solar eclipse, and Julie Staley visited WSIU-TV later in the year as the host of “Sounds of the Season”, and record a special about “Fields of Gold”. Thank you Larry Hunter and Fred Martino. Have a wonderful and Happy New Year! ... See MoreSee Less
